MY DAD (23-03-2014)

Thank you for coming to grief with
us and to accord my father mzee Zaverio Baluku a worthy burial. May God
almighty reward each one of you abundantly. It is indeed a pity that I have not
been able to come and be with you at this trying moment. I wish I could,it is
very sad and I ask everyone to understand my situation and indeed I ask
my dad to forgive me too!
A few things about my dad:
He has been a good example to us of
hard work and determination. He was indeed a disciplinarian and a lover of
education. We thank him for caring for us and winning for us friends. He always
told us to always be friendly because ,he said you never know who is going to
be of help to you in future. Mzee Zaveri Baluku loved God; he taught us to pray
and to attend sunday services always
and to receive sacraments and to
give to God; he would give poles for the church construction.
He always told us to be peace
keepers;I do not recall him picking a quarrel with anybody; he always wanted
unity among people.
He loved priests,he always talked
about Fr. Kiketha and Fr. Birungi;his personal friend was Rev.Msgr. Augustine
Muhindo(R.I.P.) they had a joking relationship! I trust that they are now
together in heaven.
He loved all of us his children; he
wished each one of us success. He easily surrendered to the church.
Before uncle Erinato Muthabali
died,he said," Obughuma obuliho ahakathi-kathi kethu ithwe bathatha
wenyu, ambe isimwebutsandaya" he said this to me at Kaghando hospital,
then he died! May his soul rest in peace.
I feel bad
and ashamed for not coming to the burial of my father, however I am consoled
because you are here to exhibit your love and solidarity with us. In
addition to the report, add the following;Thatha athuramukiraye mama, Theodozia
Kabugho, naba thatha bano: Erinato Muthabali, Erinest Kadolo,Kamabu,Yositasi
Kaheru,Benezeri Kombi,Zedekiah Kambere, nabandi abosi abakwire omo lhughanda
olwabahira Nyamuhanga abangirire.
Thank you and God bless you.
